We had Escargot, Foie Gras, Pork Chop, and the Duck, and all dishes were absolutely wonderful. For dessert, the Gran Marnier Souffle was mouth watering. The price was high, but expected. Well worth a special night out. ”

Fast forward to now, and it's my turn to throw a birthday party for her. The food is delicious, and they have a BEAUTIFUL party room upstairs that is split into a bar area and a dining area. It's so much fun having the cocktail hour (with delicious passed appetizers) in one room and dinner in the other. And they let us decorate and personalize the space. We had 35 guests and they all had the best time. The food, the space, and the staff were all amazing. But Walter, who I dealt with for planning the party was even more than that. He was so easy to work with, so accommodating, and so on top of all of the small, important details, such a pleasure to deal with. If you're looking to have a private party event in Morris County at a wonderful venue you simply can't go wrong with The Grand Cafe. ”

Our patio dinner for a party of 4 was thoroughly enjoyed on a summer evening: the food & cocktails were great, and the waitstaff was very accommodating & offered excellent service (& accommodations for the small infant in our family). The owner and his daughter came by to personally check-in on us to see how we were enjoying our dining experience; we appreciated this old-fashioned, traditional gesture and felt welcomed like family! We tried their oysters (highly recommended), clams, lobster bisque and scallops (recommended too). They offer wines and cocktails. The “Pomesecco” is fantastic. For dessert we had their tiramisu.
